Charles Demers is a Vancouver comedian, humourist and author, heralded by CBC Radio as "Truly one of hte smartest comics out there." In addition to having performed in clubs and at festivals across the country, and as a regular guest on CBC's The Debaters and This is That, he is the author of the books The Perscription Errors and Vancouver Special, which was a finalist for the BC Bookprize for non-fiction. He teaches comedy, new media, and non-fiction writing at the University of British Columbia.
